Accepting Applications on a Rolling Basis in Grades K-9

OUR SCHOOLS

Our First School, Seacoast Classical Academy

Our first school opened their doors on August 27, 2024 welcoming 177 K-8 scholars, offering a rigorous classical education rooted in academic excellence and family rights. In January 2025, the Academy amended its charter to include grades 9-12, keeping its commitment to a full K-12 classical education. Beginning in August 2025, Seacoast Classical Academy will welcome their first 9th-grade class, adding one grade each subsequent year until the full K-12 program is established.

Each morning, scholars at Seacoast Classical Academy begin their day by reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and the school’s Honor Code, reinforcing a shared commitment to patriotism, integrity, and personal responsibility.

“We, scholars of Seacoast Classical Academy, strive every day for Wisdom, Truth, Fortitude, and Excellence.”

Curriculum

Seacoast Classical schools use a content-rich curriculum with a focus on literacy, numeracy, history, and science, with strong components of foreign language, art, music, and physical education.

Literacy Essentials is an explicit, systematic, Orton-based phonics and literacy program which teaches students to read through the logic of spelling.
Core Knowledge Sequence is a coherent, cumulative, and content-rich education, ensuring that students build a strong foundation in language arts and literature, history and geography, mathematics, science, music, art and physical education.
Classic Literature refers to timeless works of exceptional artistic merit and cultural significance, studied across K-12 education for their exploration of universal human themes.
History and Civics is rigorously studied with the use of primary historical sources in grades K-12, enabling students to analyze firsthand accounts and official documents while developing critical thinking skills and a deeper understanding of democratic principles and civic responsibilities.
Singapore Math is a mathematical approach that begins with concrete experiences using physical objects, transitions to pictorial representations, and finally moves to abstract symbols and equations. The program presents mathematical skill building and problem solving such that students have a better understanding of not simply when to use a particular equation—but why. Foundational for advanced math.
Latin is foundational to English and the romance languages and studied in grades 6-12, while Latin and Greek roots are introduced in grades 4 and 5.
Spanish, French or German is studied in grades K-5 and grades 9-12.

“Only a well-stocked mind, one that has mastered the foundational knowledge of a culture, can make sense of the world and think critically about it.”  – E.D. Hirsch
